GET DISCONNECTED FREQUENTLY

If you get disconnected frequently, try this extra modem setting setting. Go to modems in control panel - Start/Setting/Control Panel/Modem. From Modem, select Properties, select Connection tab, select Advance. In Extra Setting dialogue box, enter S10=50

 

AVOID DISCONNECTED

If incoming phone calls disconnect you from your online sessions, you probably have call waiting. To disable it, open the control panel, double click the modem icon and select dialing properties. Chose the code that disable call waiting on your phone line.
